Most wireless headphones rely on Bluetooth, which compresses audio heavily due to limited transmission bandwidth. The Arya WiFi uses Wi-Fi streaming instead, allowing high-bitrate music to move directly from your network to the headphone. This approach supports lossless playback from modern streaming platforms and avoids the bandwidth constraints that often limit Bluetooth audio quality.

All-in-one internal audio system

Inside the Arya WiFi is a complete audio chain that normally lives on a desk. A Wi-Fi module handles streaming while HIFIMAN’s HYMALAYA Mini DAC converts digital audio to analog. The signal then passes through a low-pass filter and a built-in Class-A headphone amplifier. Housing the DAC and amplifier inside the headphone reduces reliance on external equipment while maintaining precise digital-to-analog conversion and stable amplification.

Planar magnetic driver with stealth magnet design

The Arya WiFi uses planar magnetic drivers with HIFIMAN’s stealth magnet structure. Planar drivers move a thin diaphragm evenly across its surface, which helps maintain low distortion and fast transient response. The stealth magnet array is designed to minimize airflow turbulence around the diaphragm, helping the driver operate more efficiently and maintain detail across the frequency range.

Neo supernano diaphragm generation 2

The Neo Supernano diaphragm in the Arya WiFi is about sixty percent of the thickness of the first-generation design. A thinner diaphragm requires less energy to move, which can improve speed and responsiveness. Conductive plating on the diaphragm ensures the magnetic field interacts evenly across the surface, helping preserve clarity in both subtle passages and dense mixes.

Composite headband for long listening sessions

The second-generation composite headband reduces weight by roughly 20–30 grams while adding rotating hinges for better positioning on the head. A lighter frame combined with the suspension-style headband distributes weight more evenly, helping the headphone remain comfortable during extended listening sessions.

Multiple listening modes

The Arya WiFi supports three operating modes: Wi-Fi streaming, Bluetooth playback, and USB audio. Bluetooth compatibility includes LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs, providing flexibility when connecting to mobile devices. USB-C audio mode allows the headphone to function as a wired DAC and amplifier when connected directly to a computer or compatible device.

Direct controls and integrated battery

Controls on the earcup allow you to power the headphone on, adjust volume, and switch functions without reaching for another device. The internal battery provides around 6.5 to 7.5 hours of playback during Wi-Fi streaming and up to 23 hours when using Bluetooth. Charging takes approximately three to four hours through the USB-C port.
